The ultimate in iconic Muskoka living, this waterfront home away from home is overflowing with casual elegance and fulfills a life long passion for escaping the hustle of city living. This new family retreat replaces a classic Muskoka cabin which no longer suited the growing needs of an expanding family. Clean lines, practical finishes, bright atmosphere and large collection of antique furnishings drove the concept for this beautiful home. The main focus of this project was to design a FAMILY FRIENDLY kitchen & dining area. Additional design services included space planning & detail consultation, consultation & specification of interior & exterior finishes, coordination for quotation & purchasing of finishes, consultation on design concepts for bathrooms & application of finishes, lighting specification and coordination for quotation & purchasing, furniture placement and creative concepts for reuse of antique furnishings.
